Issue Description Some days ago I started a water cooler thread concerning the idea of adding crew announcements to ACARS (see http://www.deltava.org/thread.do?id=0x16b2a)

After some discussion this idea seems to have some popularity. Therefore I would like to ask if there is a possiblility to include this feature in upcoming versions. Don't mind if not - it is just an idea.

I don't know how to address an "official question" about enhancements for ACARS. So I try it this way. If this is wrong: Is there another way of addressing these kinds of issues/ideas?

02/26/2011 16:03 ET		 After some thought, I'm going to defer this to ACARS3. ACARS has focused on being a flight recorder, but there are opportunities in ACARS3 to expand it.
