       Air France Virtual Airlines Presents: 
                 VA Meeting 2013
 
vACC Switzerland is pleased to announce the one and only original VA-Meeting 2013. April 6th, 2013, we invite you to our major airport Zurich (LSZH) to participate in our biggest event we provide (and perhaps the biggest VA-Event on VATSIM). So put that date in big letters into your calendar.

This yearly event has already tradition since 2007 and we are very happy to offer you a fully staffed airspace this year again. Not only the Swiss controllers will be online, also our neighbours will help us to manage the massive traffic. Additionally we will present you a few partner airports at the time. Together with them all, you can expect full coverage over the heart of Europe.

The challenge for your VA is to bring as many pilots as possible to Zurich this day in order to get an aircraft painted in your airline’s colours on the banner of the following year. All sorts of traffic are warmly welcomed, IFR and VFR, Pistons, Props, Jets and also Helicopters. We will be able to find an appropriate parking for each of you at Switzerland’s busiest airport.

Please notice that all traffic in Zurich need slots during the event (except VFR). Slot reservation will be available in March. The event may be extended if all slots are taken. Stay tuned, more information will follow!

SPECIAL Instructions:
Have ALL CHARTS for both the departure and arrival airports handy in case of wind changes!!!
Please make sure you have the current departure chart with you.  Some ATC request 1st waypoint information on RNAV Departures!
Make sure flight simulator is displaying “Indicated Airspeed”:  Settings>Realism
Please be very patient with the controllers, they may have their hands full with us!
COMPANY VOICE FREQUENCY: RW.LIVEATC.NET/DAL   (when not under ATC)
Please make sure you sign online with your AFV call-sign. Your call sign should include your AFV P.I.D. (EX: AFRxxxx)
