I have just added the new Berlin Airport which is set to replace Tegel and Schoenfeld during the coming weeks.

NOW the airport itself is on the South Side of Schoenfeld using the existing runways, so if your wondering about scenery etc, you'll be flying into Schoenfeld. I just thought I would tell you all before you all got ape over a new airport and now where to fly to...

No it doesn't, not for the moment yet anyway....

The Airport itself is late opening, but for what ever reason the schedules are NOT showing this, so RW AF and KLM are still flying into Tegel at the moment even though the schedules show the new Brandenburg Airport.

I may add a flight from CDG and AMS into Tegel once Brandenburg is fully operational. However for our purpose here, all flights need to go into Schoenfeld else it will get flagged as they are already showing the new Airport is in use.

Correct, however Schedules have yet to catch up with RW events, remembering Airlines send there Schedules months in advance for booking purposes, and then get edited but as the airport only decided last month not to open, Schedules are somewhat behind RW events, so still showing the New Airport, No doubt they will be updated to fly back into Tegel when they update there res systems.

As it is now, even though the flights are showing Brandenburg, both KLM and Air France are still flying into Tegel. But for now in order for AFV Pilots to fly to Berlin they'll have to use Schoenfeld (Brandenburg) Airport as this is the Airport in the schedules. July/August Airlines tend to send out updates for Summer Schedules so there is a good chance that Tegel will be back. If not then in October when the Winter Schedule is release it will be. Then in March 2013 it will go to the new airport from the start of the Summer Schedules

I meant even later than March 2013 with my answer... The whole security concept seems to be a mess... In the meantime, Tegel is running at capacity limits...
