Hi there,
since we have probably the best acars beetween VAs, what's about to cancel the possiblility to fill non acars reports?
In case of the impossibility to recover a flight (remote possibility), u just need to refly it (not a big deal!).
I think that the possibility to fill non acars flights can push peoples to cheat.
Just my opinion, dont beat me .-)

Pilots,
Effective immediately Air France Virtual Airlines will no longer require pilots fly 100% of their flights on ACARS. However, listed below will be the stipulations attached to this rule.
1. Non-ACARS flights will not count towards required flight legs for promotion.
2. Promotion eligible flights shall be ACARS submitted, and comply with the 150NM minimum distance flight leg for promotion.
3. Manual PIREP's will be accepted. However, they must comply with all scheduling parameters (i.e. no off schedule flights without authorization from the Operations Department).
Our ultimate goal here at AFVA is to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere for all. We realize that our software will not immediately work on all computers, and we feel by relaxing this rule we will be giving you, the pilots, a better experience.
Should you have any questions regarding this rule, please contact the operations department. Our e-mail can be found on the "Our Staff" section of the website.

I like having the option... I've had the occasion where sometime during the night ACARS has crashed out and then by being able to file an offline flight I dont have to lose the flight.

Would you be happy to fly it again if you were 14 hours into ATL-JNB and it happened to you?
