	With Christmas just a few days away, the airport in Rovaniemi, Finland, is "invaded" by charters from all over Europe, far more than the usual 2 or 3 flights a day from Helsinki. What do you say - should we allow charters to and from RVN up until, say, January 10, next year, without the need to post a formal charter request before? With almost 10,000 ft of runway, it can accommodate short and long haul flights in all types of aircraft.

	We have already had an event to RVN, As we already have a flight in the schedules (albeit from Helsinki) then unless someone requests a charter we have no way of knowing who is doing what, and is more than likely be held/rejected for route not in the schedules, and it will add more work load to the staff having to hold the initial flight to ask the question, and with it being a busy time of year to spend with the family it may take a while for the Pilot to respond and for the staff member to action. So I would say no, if you want to fly in and out of there then, if you have enough Charter credits and the Ops team have the time, then request a series of charters. Roger

	Ok, it's good to know what goes on behind the scenes - my intention was to decrease the workload for the charter / ops team and I never imagined this "small change" would actually have the opposite effect. Thank you for clarifying this! Best wishes! Ted
