You can share financially in supporting Air France Virtual and Delta Virtual Airlines through our parent company Global Virtual Airlines Group (GVAGroup.org). Global Virtual Airlines Group was created in 2007 to provide a structure and method for receiving voluntary contributions to pay for direct expenses to host the site.
The recent fiscal year closed August 31, 2017, with a positive balance. Last year began with a positive balance of $1,090. An additional 90 fund shares were issued at $10 per share or $900. Expenses amounted to $1,344; the carryover balance into 2017 – 2018 is $649.
Our 2017 – 2018 expenses are estimated to be $1,862. Our cash balance goal for the fiscal year was set at $1,220 including a 30% contingency. It was proposed and agreed by shareholders to authorize the sale of 122 fund shares at $10 per share.
According to the Global Virtual Airlines Group operating structure, the prior year shareholders have the first right to purchase fund shares. Twelve shareholders purchased 70 fund shares, $700.00. Thus, we have fifty-two (52) fund shares available for purchase.
NOTE: “Share” participation is voluntary and is not a requirement for membership.
How to acquire “fund shares:”
1. Send an email to Treasurer@GVAGroup.org stating your desire to support and the US$ amount.
2. The Treasurer will inform you of the number of “fund shares” that you can purchase.
3. Payment will be in US funds by check or Paypal.
4. Registration opens November 9, 2017 for 15 days closing November 24, 2017.
