Hi
I am very new to AFVA and although I have flown a number of flights, I am still finding my way. I have a question relating to passengers. My records show that on six flights I have only carried 6 passengers in total!! In fact I have been carrying an average of 155 pax per flight. How do I record pax numbers? I can't see how to do this on ACARS. Indeed the "load fuel and passengers" dropdown is greyed out.

Hi Ian, well are you using ACARS to manage fuel/pax/payload ? If so i recommend you to use SimBrief instead, it calculates all weights for you, and you can either set it to "Auto" or manually type in PAX.

/Fred

I see in your'e flight KL1277 you had 12,542 kg passengers, so roughly if the weight in general is 70kg you had about 180 passengers.

Acars says "1" passenger, but i never use acars for more than log my flights, no fuel/passenger or payload. When it pops up, just press no and start flight. You enter everything else in MCDU/FMC and use the built-in fuel in the sim instead "before" you starts ACARS, otherwise you got "in-flight refeuling".

Thanks for your help Fred. I am quite happy to to continue to use ACARS to log my flight and to load passengers and fuel manually in the aircraft FMC. I just wondered if there would be any problems with my logbook showing only 1 passenger per flight.....but the the passenger weight would indicate differently?
