Recently whenever I have flown a flight, FS-9 crashes when I get within 200nm of the destination and start my approach. It will just crash suddenly to a black screen, and when I reload the flight ( I save a lot) it will black out within 30 seconds - but only on that flight, not on any others. I currently use the Project Opensky 747 F-GITA and use Project AI, but they were both installed a while ago, and the problem has only recently occured. Does anyone know how I should fix this problem? I have a pretty good PC and this does not limit FS so I have no idea what's wrong. Any ideas? Thanks

Dan

Dan:
I am by no means a pc expert. In fact when I log on the 1st screen to come up says idiot onboard.
However I have been thinking about your problem and may I repeat may have an answer for you.
Try this when you are about 205nm from your dest. pause FS and save flight like I told you. (X 205nm from XXX)
Then come out of FS altogether. This may be a mem problem. After being out for a few minutes and making sure all your window programs are shut down. If you do not have end it all use atl-ctrl-del. The ones that show your name EXCEPT taskmaster and explorer you can shut off.
Then try the flight from where you left off.
Let me know if this works
