It might be answered before, but is it realy not possible to fly for both AFV and DVA?
the reason I want this is: I want to fly the 747 but do not want to switch to stage 4 with DVA.

thanks in advance

Sander,

According to the Promotion Guide:
"You may also receive an additional rating for an aircraft one stage above your primary type by passing the First Officar's written examination for that aircraft..."

You're a Stage 3 pilot, which should mean you can add an additional rating of a Stage 4 aircraft. Check with the Chief Pilot for the 747.

The problem with flying 747s for both DVA and AFV is that Delta has no 747s in their fleet and the routes that are listed, if they still are, are Air France or Northwest routes,
Let me know at FlightsimCapt@aol if you want to switch to AFV

Philip, this is not totaly true, DVA has a Delta 747-100 schedule.

and I still don't know what to do, Air France has a verry nice fleet setup but lacks one three engined buety(guess 3 times wink so I'm still thinking about it, do you keep you're DVA type ratings?
