| BRIEFING DOCUMENTATION | |||||
| Tour Briefing | The second chapter of the “F” Word continues the global freight operation with even longer sectors, denser cargo corridors, and some of the busiest logistics hubs in the world. This portion of the tour emphasizes the truly international nature of cargo aviation, connecting North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia through a nonstop chain of overnight freight operations. Pilots will operate modern and classic freighters alike, including the B777F, B747-400F, B747-8F, B767F, MD-11F, and A330 freighter variants. The routing highlights major cargo gateways such as Narita, Liège, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Dubai, Seoul, Amsterdam, and Paris-CDG — airports that form the core of worldwide cargo distribution networks. Unlike passenger schedules built around convenience, these flights are driven by timing, efficiency, and logistics demand. Many departures occur late at night or in the early morning hours, mirroring real freight operations where aircraft move while much of the world sleeps. Operational considerations in this tour include: Ultra long-haul freight sectors Heavy-weight departures and performance planning International cargo hub operations Multi-crew long-range procedures Cargo-focused airline route structures Diverse weather and ATC environments across multiple continents Part 2 increases the scale and complexity of the operation, demanding endurance, planning, and consistency from pilots as they move freight across the globe. The passengers may never see these flights, but the global economy depends on them every day. |
